SWK 308 Social Work Research (3 credits)Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio Prerequisite(s): Declared social work major, SWK 204 with C- or better, SWK 205 with C- or better, SWK 206 with C- or better, STA 113 OR STA 205 OR STA 205R with C- or better; GPA 2.75 or higher Taught: Spring only This course introduces students to social work research methods. Students are taught to become critical consumers of research and are provided with the foundational knowledge to move toward becoming researchers themselves.
