SWK 206 Professional Social Work Communication (3 credits)

Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio
Prerequisite(s): SWK 105  with C- or better and SWK 106  with C- or better  
Taught: Fall and Spring
This class is an introduction to professional communications in social work. Students engage with a variety of materials and opportunities to practice communication in various professional contexts, explore communication skills and strategies with diverse audiences and multiple intended outcomes, and develop competence in social work communication.
