DNP 874 Anesthesia Seminar II (2 credits)

2 lecture hours + 0 lab/studio hours
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Nurse Anesthesia Program, DNP 871L  and DNP 873  
Taught: Variable-check w/department
This is the second of a two (2) course sequence designed to integrate theory into practice through synthesizing current evidence based literature with application to clinical practice. The seminar examines contemporary anesthesia literature, encouraging discussion and critical thinking of clinical experiences, case presentations and morbidity and mortality conferences through student presentations. During this seminar students continue a structured comprehensive review of all anesthesia specialty courses.
