GEO 422 Landscape Preservation & National Parks (3 Credits)

Examines questions of landscape preservation, historic preservation, and public education using case studies from America’s National Parks system. Themes include what natural, cultural, and historical features are deserving of preservation, what stories deserve to be told, and how preservation standards change over time.
