GLY 435 Petrology and Petrography (4 credits)

Prerequisite(s): GLY 335 and GLY 420 .

Students will use petrographic analysis to identify minerals. Students will use this analysis to identify rocks and to evaluate rocks for geologic history as well as for economic applications.
