ENG 347 Technical Writing (3 credits)

Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio
Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 , HNR 102  or equivalent.
Taught: Fall and spring
Principles and techniques of technical writing, with particular attention paid to conveying technical content to lay audiences and nonspecialists. Students learn the value of visuals, style, and design in communicating complex content and are introduced to the types of documents central to the technical professions. WRITING STUDIES.
