Law, B.A.

Program Coordinator: Alex Brennan, Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice and Organizational Leadership

The Bachelor of Arts in Law program is ideal for students interested in the law, legal systems, and their impact on society. This versatile major is designed for those aiming to pursue law school or begin their careers immediately after earning their BA. The program introduces students to the main areas of law while focusing on critical thinking, research, and legal writing skills, making it an excellent choice for those drawn to law-related fields.

While no specific major is required for law school admission, this program helps students develop essential skills, whether they choose to continue their education or start their careers immediately after graduation.

Students must complete at least 24 credit hours of LAW courses in residence at NKU. Additionally, no more than 3 credit hours from LAW 450 and 6 credit hours from LAW 496 can be applied toward the major.
