RTT 200 Introduction to Radiation Therapy (3 credits)

Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio
Prerequisite(s): Radiation Therapy Major.
Taught: Spring only
Provides an introductory framework of radiation therapy. Topics include: patient assessment and communication, introductory ethics and law as applied to radiation oncology, radiation production, safety and protection, grade & stage of a tumor, histology, and primary methods of cancer treatment.
