CYS 382 Information Security Management (3 credits)

Prerequisite(s): ISBA 300  or CSC 350 . Cannot be taken by BS CYS  and BS IT students

An introduction to the various technical and administrative aspects of Information Security and Assurance. This course provides the foundation for understanding key issues associated with protecting information assets, determining levels of protection, responding to security incidents, and designing a consistent, reasonable information security system with appropriate intrusion detection and reporting features.
