MBI 692 Information Systems Research (3 credits)Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio Prerequisite(s): MBI 625 , MBI 630 , MBI 635 and MBI 645 or with the permission of the Director of the MBI program. Taught: Variable, check with department This course introduces students to both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and those specifically used within the health industry. Students will learn the basics of empirical health informatics research and will be provided with the conceptual framework to critically assess evidence. Topics include all steps of the research methodology. ♦
