Examination of the impact cardiopulmonary bypass has on the organ systems pertinent to cardiovascular perfusion practice. Students study the anatomical, histological, and physiological mechanisms of the autonomic nervous, electrolyte and metabolism, hepatic, lymphatic, and endocrine systems.
