PHI 324 Africana Philosophy (3 credits)Hours: 3 classroom + 0 lab/studio Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or consent of the instructor. Taught: Variable, check with department Examination of philosophical ideas in relation to people of African descent. Topics include Africana conceptions of reality, time and space; Africana epistemological and logical systems of reasoning; Africa morality. Contrast will be made with Western philosophy.
