HSR 340 Alcoholism: Issues and Intervention (3 credits)

The field of alcoholism; the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to provide helping services to alcoholics and their families; recognition of the problem; effects, etiology, counseling, treatment, and resources.
