Taught: Variable, check with department This course overviews issues related to communication and aging across the lifespan. Topics include attitudes about aging, intergenerational and intragenerational communication, enhancing communication with older adults, social construction of the aging process, older adults’ media use, effects of mass media on older adults, health communication and the older adult population, as well as issues related to communication and technology among older adults.
